5 Killer Hairstyles You Should Try This Summer
With temperatures on the rise, no one wants to spend the day trying to get a handle on their hair. So, this summer why not try one of these super cute and easy styles that will have you out the door and ready for the day in minutes. Here are our top 5 summer hairstyles for you to try.
1. VISORS VISORS VISORS
Gone are the days that visors were strictly for golfing and tennis — visors are IN. This summer they will serve you well, whether you want to leave your hair down in waves or pull it up when you're in a rush. Throw one on with a pair of high-waisted shorts and a white tank and you will look like you came right out of the 90’s (the good part though!)
2. HALF-UP SPACE BUNS
These double buns have been around for a while now. Take the hair on the top of your head (dividing it in two), and twist these little babies however you want. You can make your buns messy, clean, or even braided! From there, what you do with the bottom half is all up to you. Curled, wavy, straightened, crimped —the options are endless.
3. SCRUNCHY TOP KNOT
This style is something that is SUPER easy to do. It will be one of those hairstyles that will take you from morning to night as the day goes on. As your hair dries throughout the day, your little baby strands will start to fall. Add a cute dress and a pair of heels and you are ready for drinks with the girls after work.
4. BUBBLE PONYTAILS
Ponytails will never go out of style. But let’s be honest, sometimes it’s hard to make a plain old ponytail pop. This summer lets blow up those ponies with some bubbles (see what I did there?) No matter the length of your hair, adding a little volume with these bubbles in the back will take you from zero to 100 in no time. With an added bright lip you will be ready to take on any weekend plans that get thrown your way.
5. TWIST IT UP
We all have those rebellious hair days where it just doesn't want to cooperate. Next time that happens, leave it wet and twist it back. Try a half up, half down look with the top part twisted back. If you're feeling adventurous and have a few extra minutes, try a side braid and wrap the rest of your hair back into a bun. The bonus to starting with wet hair and letting it air dry is that as the day goes on, you will end up with this perfectly messy style that will go from work to play any day of the week.
