(Ottawa, Ontario) January 11, 2018 – The roots of Nora Swimwear began with a vision to create a brand focused on female empowerment. The newly announced spring and summer collection will kick-off The Year of the Women with a 1970s inspired collection to celebrate an era that redefined women’s rights.
These suits aim to help women conquer confidence in designs that represent the strong women of the past who shaped the future.
“We have been working hard on this collection and hope that people love it as much as we do,” said Ashley Lemmon, Founder of Nora Swimwear.
“This is our way of saying thank you to a generation that did so much.”
Alongside this collection, Nora Swimwear also launched the Nora Girls Fund, a bursary that will be rewarded twice a year to women with a mission.
Whether it is a business idea, a research project, a campaign for change, or help with tuition–the Nora Girls Fund is open to any woman who needs the financial support. The fund is open to people of all ages who identify as female.
Lemmon said that customers can expect to see the new collection in stores and online by the end of the month, just in time for spring break.
